Well lets see.... I guess being an 80's baby and being highly influenced by artists such as Biggie, Nas, Jay Z, TuPac, TLC, Aaliyah, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, ..and my list can go on and on and on...I have a different outlook on what music is and has grown to be.
A lot of artists say that Hip Hop out right now is wack. I can say that music isn't at all the same as it was. But nothing stays the same. Change is a necessity.
I can't lie there have been a few times(recently) when I've been watching "The Deal" on BET and seen artists they have on the show (mainly females) and I think to myself they must have just walked outside spotted a girl and was like "oh you rap, okay cool come with me let me interview you" But hey that's just my opinion.
Music is what music is to each individual. If you feel its wack then change it! Contribute! This goes out to all artists in the game and those looking to get in the game.
